The Key to Successful Meetings

In today's Vlog post, I challenge some of the habits that many of us have carried with us, post pandemic.

In summary, I define The Key to Successful Meetings as:

Look out into your schedule for next week and your upcoming meetings to answer these questions, analyzing meeting by meeting:

·      What role will I play in this meeting?

- To listen / learn / observe?

- To contribute?

- To lead?

·      How must I prepare?

·      Who else must attend to add to the quality of the meeting?

·      What must I expect from the attendees of the meeting?

·      What does success look like for the meeting? (Walking in with the end in mind.)

·      How must I follow up?

·      What are the next steps? Who owns them? By when? (AIM = Accountability, Intentionality, Measurability)
