It's because I have firsthand experience especially in dealing with the sometimes conflict-ridden relationship between operations and business development.

However, there is a solution and it especially involves leadership and leadership's role in creating an environment in which there is a healthy culture of respect and appreciation for the value that each role provides to the organization.

BOTTOM LINE: We all need one another to be successful.
