Do you know what a quieted, clear mind looks like?

Do you know how to get there?

For some of my friends, it’s the outdoors; for others, it’s rock concerts; and still others love the cold, snow-filled mountains.

For me, nothing recharges my batteries more than being completely surrounded by ocean/sea water on a ship in the middle of nowhere, especially if my cell phone is completely out of range.

Not only does it replenish my spirit, but it makes me uber creative. By extracting myself from the hustle and bustle of living in the nation’s fourth largest city, I open my mind to all of the great inspirations that abound. It allows me to pay attention to that still small voice inside of me.

I once worked with someone who has a theory that if you’re not on vacation, you should be planning your next vacation. I loved that and soon adopted this mantra. In fact, I tell anyone who’ll listen that I work to enable my travel addiction.
